Tandoori Chicken Recipe




Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken legs or thighs

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • 2 tbsp tandoori masala

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • Juice of 1 lemon

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, turmeric, cumin, chili powder, and lemon juice.

  2. Coat the chicken in the marinade and refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.

  3. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) or heat a grill.

  4. Cook the chicken for 30-35 minutes, turning occasionally, until charred and fully cooked.

  5. Serve with naan bread or rice and a side of mint chutney.
